Santo is geboren in Italië maar woont al meer dan 50 jaar in Genk, België. Op jonge leeftijd hield Santo zich al bezig met muziek. Toen hij 6 jaar oud was, begon hij met gitaar spelen. Zijn ouders stuurde hem naar de muziekacademie waar hij verschillende instrumenten leerde spelen zoals piano, bas, drum en gitaar.

Toen Santo 16 jaar was, speelde hij in een bandje als zanger/gitarist. In zijn loopbaan als muzikant heeft Santo veel in de studio werk gedaan en heeft hij als gitarist, bassist, toetsenist en drummer bij verschillende professionele groepen op het podium gestaan.
